Faraday Technology, Inc. provides its commercial and government clients with applied process and product development from bench- to full-scale systems, with limited rate production and licensing opportunities. Faraday works in the areas of applied electrochemistry and electrochemical engineering, chemical engineering and chemistry. Faraday is a wholly owned subsidiary of Physical Sciences Inc. (Andover, MA).
Our Facilities
Faraday’s vision is to develop next generation products, processes and apparatus, using the tools of electrochemistry, chemical engineering and chemistry, that reduce manufacturing costs, improve process and product robustness, and minimize or eliminate the use of hazardous chemicals.
Faraday occupies a custom-built facility located off I-70 in Englewood, Ohio. The facility provides complete capabilities for the development of product and process technologies from the bench-scale to the full-scale. The facility includes a small-scale machine shop for fixturing and prototyping and in-house CAD capabilities for engineering design requirements. Faraday’s facility meets environmental laws and regulations of federal, state (Ohio), and local governments for, but not limited to, the following groupings: airborne emissions, waterborne effluents, external radiation levels, outdoor noise, solid and bulk waste disposal practices, and handling and storage of toxic and hazardous materials.
